What GlobCall is
GlobCall lets you call real mobile and landline numbers worldwide from a browser. The other person does not need GlobCall, an app, or an internet connection — their phone rings as usual.
There is no monthly subscription. You buy calling credit and pay per minute. Credit does not expire. The first call is free, with no credit card required.
How a call works
- Open globcall.com on a laptop, phone, or tablet. Nothing to install.
- Sign in, pick a country, and enter the number.
- See the per-minute rate before you dial.
- The call connects over the internet on your side, then to the phone network in the destination country.
Pricing
Rates start from about $0.02 per minute, depending on the destination. Examples from the public rates page: a 30-minute call to India is about $2.40; to the US or Canada about $0.60; to the UK about $0.90. There are no connection fees and no minimum spend. Current country rates: globcall.com/rates.
For small businesses: AI receptionist
Small teams can call from one account, share credit, and add an AI receptionist when they want help answering. Setup is three steps: add a website or business details, choose its tasks, then make a test call before it takes customer calls.
- Book or change appointments from a connected calendar
- Answer hours, services, prices and policies from the website, price list and FAQs
- Take a name, callback number and reason for calling
- Transfer to the team with who is calling and why; take a message if no one answers
AI can take all calls, missed calls, or calls outside opening hours. After an AI call you get a summary: who called, what they needed, and whether they booked, left a message or need a callback.
