Browser Call Quality Test
People can’t hear you — or you can’t hear them — on Zoom, Teams, Meet, or any other browser call? Check the mic, speakers, and browser here. Nothing is uploaded.
If people can’t hear you on a browser call
Most “bad call” problems are local: the wrong mic is selected, the site blocked the mic, the tab is muted, or headphones are still the output while you’re listening on speakers. Start the test, talk while the bars move, and play the beep. If a step fails, use the What to try tips under that result.
Common fixes: allow Microphone in the site settings (lock icon in the address bar); pick the headset mic from the list if you have more than one; turn up system volume and unmute the tab; close Zoom / Teams / Meet if they are holding the mic. This works the same whether you call from Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, a support widget, or any other browser phone tool.
Need to check a number’s format or cost before you dial? Use the phone number validator or rates calculator. Calling across time zones? Try the phone number timezone checker.
